Confucius Institute’s candidate takes First Place to become the Sydney Representative

On the 27th of May, the Preliminary Round for the 17th Chinese Bridge Competition for Foreign Tertiary Education Students was held at the Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theater. The representative for Confucius Institute at UNSW Sydney was a local student, Austin Kozak. Austin displayed his advanced Chinese skills through his speech and tongue twister performance and came first in the preliminary round. He will now progress on to the next stage in China as one of the representatives for Australia and compete against contestants from all around the world. We wish him the best of luck!
