Double 10th: Double Happiness CIUNSW Anniversary

A celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the strategic partnership between UNSW Sydney and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)

Over the past ten years, the UNSW & SJTU strategic partnership has made a significant contribution to Sino-Australia relations through collaboration in education, innovation, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship.

SJTU is now UNSW’s largest student mobility partner in the world with over 100 students undertaking an international experience at SJTU every year as part of their degree. The UNSW-SJTU Collaborative Research Fund has supported more than 50 academics from the two institutions in collaborative research and development projects. The UNSW Confucius Institute has also become Australia’s leading organisation for promoting Chinese language and culture, and people-to-people links.

Attendees include: Professor Ian Jacobs, President and Vice-Chancellor of UNSW Sydney and Professor Xuemin Xu, Vice President (Education and International) of SJTU.

Please join us in celebrating the anniversary of this important partnership during the Lantern Festival at Sydney’s beautiful Chinese Garden of Friendship.
